I experimented with details such as background colour, tone behind the text of the world & hand, as well as appropriate text and placement for the tagline. I decided the dark background was most effective in enhancing the world & hand image, and that the hand needs to have a white background in order to stop it from fading into the background. I also placed a circular tonal layer under the text of the world in order to enhance the 3D effect. The more understated tagline around the edge of the world is more effective as it does not detract from the imagery and doesn't look clumsy as the larger type.
